Meet the guy behind OkShu
Small-town kid from Sicamous, now raising a family in Vernon, and the hands-on owner of OkShu Contracting.
My story
I grew up in Sicamous, right on the water. Summers on the Shuswap, winters that teach you to build things properly, and a hometown where your name and your handshake still mean something. That's the way I was raised, and it's how I run OkShu.
These days I'm based in Vernon with my family, working the whole corridor from the Shuswap down to Kelowna. I started OkShu, short for Okanagan–Shuswap, because I wanted to do renovations the honest way: someone you can trust who shows up, does great work, cleans up, and stands behind it. No big-company runaround.
When I'm not on a job site, you'll probably find me with my family, out on the lake, or behind a drum kit, since I play in a few local bands around town. Music, family and building things with my hands: that's pretty much me. I bring the same energy to your project that I bring to everything else.
If you want a contractor who treats your home like his own and gives it to you straight, I'd love to hear about what you're planning.
A proper headshot's on the list; this'll do for now.
